A menace that have thrown the country into a state of confusion. The General Overseer of the famous Omega Power Ministry (OPM), Apostle Dr. Chibuzor Gift Chinyere opted for a new approach.
Wondering what the Church could do, in the face of a country frustrated with/by hydra headed economic recession and poverty, cultism, incessant killing, robbery and militancy mostly orchestrated by our teaming youths and the down trodden, the man of God vowed to contribute the Church quota towards enhancing peaceful, industrialise and sustainable society.
Consequently, on Friday May 12th, 2017 the servant of God embarked on an inspection tour of a 5 years OPM foundation facilities situated at Circular road, Elikahia Port Harcourt were over 380 Nigerians including the repented cultists cum militants were currently under going different free training on carpentry, tailoring, driving, paint making, oil and Rig, Computer, pipe line welding, scaffolding, generator maintenance and repairs among others.
The foundation which has for the pass 5years turned in multiply thousands of different Church members and Nigerians into self reliance.
Part of the Church rehabilitation program that seems different from others was that, the church received the repented and rejected criminals into the Church free accommodation after they must have confessed their evil ways and turn a new life, tutored them through Bible study while administering free feeding for them. Some of the repented cultists, surrender their arms and ammunition through the church to the police. Knowing the biblical implication of illegal marriage the church has further pay bride price for those who repented but were harbouring women as wife and businesses set up for such families to mitigate the pains of unemployment, while their children were admitted into the OPM free school.
This the man of God said is about the beginning of the vision God gave to him to depopulate hell for the kingdom of God.
