Pochettino Beats Guardiola, Mourinho To Win EPL April Best Manager Award
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has been voted the Premier league's April Manager of the Month – his first this season.
Pochettino beat off competition from Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Jurgen Klopp (Liverpool), Jose Mourinho (Manchester United) and Sam Allardyce (Crystal Palace).
The Argentinian led Spurs to six consecutive Premier League victories in the month under review as his side chased down Chelsea for the title last month, scoring 16 goals and conceding just once.
At home, Tottenham thrashed both Bournemouth and Watford 4-0 before a 2-0 victory in the last-ever north London derby against Arsenal at White Hart Lane, which will be demolished at the end of the season.
Pochettino last won the Premier League Manager of the Month award in February 2016.
