INCRA'S ALLEGATIONS AGAINST NWUCHE. TISSUE OF LIES FROM A DISCREDITED GROUP OF PSYCHOPHANTS.

Our attention has been drawn to an online publication by ‘The Inter-Ethnic Network for Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi (INCRA) in which they tried and failed as usual in their attempt and those of their paymasters to malign the personality of Rt. Hon Chibudom Nwuche. In the said publication titled “ CHIBUDOM NWUCHE’S STATEMENT ON EDEOHA- IKATA-OCHIGBA ROAD; FALSE AND MISLEADING, the faceless group concocted all sorts of falsehood to please their paymaster whose agenda is to malign and persecute  Nwuche over imaginary fears.

Ordinarily we would not have bordered to respond to such falsehood but for the interest of the reading public who not being abreast of the true situation of things may be deceived to believe them for what they are. A quick look at the statement released by the Amaechi agents shows a people who are looking for any excuse to  impugn the integrity of Nwuche for political reasons. This time in a statement of fact by Nwuche during the commissioning of the Edeoha-Ikata-Ochigba road that leads to Nwuche's Ochigba town. The annoyance of INCRA and their paymasters is why Nwuche commended Wike for completing the road and not Amaechi for abandoning it. To INCRA it does not matter whether Amaechi abandoned the road even though Amaechi did not hide it by saying publicly at different fora that he abandoned the road to punish Chibudom Nwuche for refusing to join him in fighting former president Goodluck Jonathan.

As rightly acknowledged by INCRA, Chibudom Nwuche is a statesman and at his level must state the truth at all times. Amaechi not minding that the resources at his disposal as governor is a common wealth of the people, exhibited high degree of pettiness and parochialism by abandoning the road because to him he want to “punish Chibudom Nwuche” for not joining him. What else could be the truth than that Amaechi abandoned the road.
INCRA in their rush to malign Chibudom Nwuche forgot that Chibudom remained the beacon of his people because of his monumental achievement for the four years he was at the National Assembly. A summary of the achievements of Chibudom Nwuche to his people, Rivers state and the Niger Delta when he served as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives is now a public document and we advice them to get a copy and be amazed at his monumental achievement in terms of infrastructural development, employment, empowerment, scholarship, grants etc amongst which are several roads in Ekpeye and Abua/Odual   which were constructed through the efforts of Chibudom Nwuche.
Like drowning men that are ready to cling to even straws to save their lives, INCRA peddled falsehood in their desperation to malign  Nwuche. As they rightly acknowledged, Rotimi Amaechi had shown no repentance for his eternal hatred for Chibudom Nwuche from time immemorial. It is a general knowledge what role Rotimi Amaechi played in instigating our leader Dr Peter Odili against Nwuche between 1999 -2003 using Rivers state resources to facilitate the failed  impeachment of Chibudom Nwuche as Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives just because of Nwuche's soaring national profile. The several failed plots directly hatched by Amaechi to eliminate Nwuche between  2000 and 2003,which plots are continuing till today using the resources of the ministry of transportation.

As a man with a large heart, when Amaechi fell apart with Odili during the run up to the 2007 general elections that he had to escape to Ghana for fear of his life, Chibudom Nwuche was amongst those that stood by  Amaechi.The efforts of Wike whom Amaechi now sees as an enemy  climaxed in the supreme court judgment that foisted Amaechi on Rivers people as governor. This kind gesture Amaechi has not reciprocated till date instead he continued his antagonism and hate for Chibudom Nwuche. He manifested his hate for Chibudom Nwuche further when he used his powers as governor to upturn Nwuche’s victory during the 2011 Rivers West PDP Senatorial primaries.

Until our society is purged of the negative tendencies expressed by this faceless group, Development shall continue to elude our people. If not for pettiness even Rotimi Amaechi would commend Wike for his detribalized approach for spreading developmental projects across the state irrespective of party affiliation or tribe. Amaechi and his group are still to come to terms why Wike chose to complete inflated contracts he awarded mostly to his cronies, mobilized fully but abandoned like the Edeoha-Ikata-Ochigba 8.2 kilometer road at a whooping N5.7 billion  awarded to a front of a governorship aspirant in one of the South Eastern states. Same aspirant was awarded the Ozuoba-Rumuolemi 4 kilometer road at N5 billion and abandoned which Wike has also completed. Others awarded to other fronts  are the Trans Amadi road Amaechi awarded at N49 billion and paid in full but abandoned which Wike for the benefit of the people and strategic importance of the Trans Amadi Industrial estate has completed. Other inflated contracts awarded to various fronts include the Slaughter-Woji bridge, Woji-Elelnwo brigde, Woji –Akpajo bridge etc. What is expected of Rotimi Amaechi is to set ego aside and commend Wike for completing projects he had paid for and abandoned rather than continuously antagonizing Wike and people he sees around him.

Need it be emphasized that when Amaechi abandoned the Edeoha-Ikata-Ochigba road because Chibudom refused to join him in fighting Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, Wike then as gubernatorial candidate of the PDP assured Chibudom Nwuche that if elected governor, he will finish the road and as a man of his words, even though Chibudom later left the PDP because of the injustice done to him when he was robbed of the 2015 PDP Rivers West senatorial ticket , Wike unlike Amaechi kept to his words and finished the road.It is only natural that Wike be commended for such gesture. The Edeoha-Ikata-Ochigba road is just one amongst several of such contracts awarded and abandoned by the Amaechi administration for one petty reason or the other that the Wike administration has completed even to Amaechi’s astonishment.
It is rather unfortunate that Amaechi rather than use his privileged position to develop Rivers state and the South South, is instead using the position against the people of the region by needlessly cancelling business concessions and contracts of South South and Niger Delta indigenes in the Ministry of Transportation and other parastatals/subsidiaries under him like the case of Chief Victor Odili the Onwa of Ndoni. To deploy government resources at your disposal in fighting and sabotaging every Niger Delta person of substance is improper as Rotimi Amaechi is currently doing against former Governor of Bayelsa Chief Timipre Sylva, Minister of State for Petroleum Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, Governor Nyesom Wike, Senator Magnus Abe, Chibudom Nwuche etc.

We wish to also state as against the falsehood of INCRA that Chibudom Nwuche was not awarded contract at County High School by Nyesom Wike. INCRA should have been sincere to the public in naming which of the companies handling the reconstruction of County High School that belongs to Nwuche and the contract value. Nwuche's Ekpeye people consider him as their political leader, and even his Royal Majesty the King of the Ekpeye people, Eze Robinson O. Robinson has prounounced Chibudom Nwuche so.  Nwuche has supporters and followers across all political parties in Ekpeye land and Rivers state and their is no offence in their parties including the APC empowering them. Amaechi should show us one project he has brought to Nwuche's Ekpeye people and Rivers state since 2015 and we shall also applaud him.

No amount of blackmail against Chibudom Nwuche will succeed as he has remained a man of means outside politics. Nwuche is a professional lawyer and a business man which Amaechi is very much aware of. This is a man who made his first millions in 1988 as a youth corpper and has remained industrious till date. Chibudom does not need to be in government to survive as by the grace of God and hard work, has been affluent before he went to National Assembly and has remained affluent since  fifteen years when he left the National Assembly.

Democracy by all intent and purpose is a government of the people. Since Nwuche left the PDP for the APC on account of the injustice in his 2015 senatorial bid on the invitation of Rotimi Amaechi and the urging of his people especially the Ekpeye Monarch, Amaechi has been persecuting and victimising Nwuche and other party leaders in Rivers State. This is not how to lead a party. Nwuche is known to all Rivers people and should not elicit envy from Any leader. His principle stand to associate with well meaning Rivers sons across party lines should be commended. We urge Rotimi Amaechi to imbibe this rare quality that Nwuche possese. So also should his identification with those that empower the Ekpeye and Rivers people, as Nwuche unlike some is a grass roots leader and very popular with the masses.

INCRA and Amaechi must face reality and support the developmental efforts of Nyesom Wike in Rivers state. He must realize that the state is fast moving ahead with a new consciousness that requires all irrespective of party affiliation to work together in the overall development of the state. No need making more enemies with people he sees around Governor Nyesom Wike whom ordinarily Amaechi should applaud for the good works he is doing across the state. His continued hatred of governor Wike will not change anything but will continue to show case him as an enemy of Rivers people even though his position as minister has not attracted anything good to the state.
