GREAT NEWS! OML 25 DISPUTE RESOLVED AS NNPC JV Partners, SPDC AND BELEMAOIL PRODUCING SIGN UNDERSTANDING TO REOPEN OML 25 AND RESUME PETROLEUM ACTIVITIES.

In the Agreement, indigenous oil giant Belemaoil Producing Limited will now be in charge of Operations/ Maintenance services, Surveillance and patrol of OML 25  Oil field while SPDC retains its licence.
Signatories to the Agreement include Jack-Rich Tein, Jr, Belemaoil Founder/President, Mele Kolo Kyari, GMD, NNPC; Osagie Okunbor, MD, Country Chief, SPDC  and Chief Timipre Silva, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources.

Chief Timipre Silva, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources thanked the companies "for cooperating to ensure that there is closure on this matter that has bedevilled the industry for so long." With this victory, peace is restored to Belema and Offoinama Communities. This is indeed a victory for Belemaoil and the host communities!
